Mrs. Lisa Wright
Mrs. Lisa Wright was born and raised in Millport, Alabama. South Lamar School is her alma mater where she was a member of the varsity cheer team and a 1997 graduate. She attended the University of Alabama where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Public Relations. From The University of West Alabama she obtained a Master of Education degree Elementary Education, a Master of Education in Library Media, a Master of Education degree in Instructional Leadership, and Education Specialist degree in Library Media. Mrs. Wright began her education career in Aliceville Elementary where she taught 1st and 3rd grades. She then moved to South Lamar in 2005 where she taught 1st grade, kindergarten, and has been K-12 Librarian. She also served seven years as cheer coach for junior high and varsity squads. This is her third year as the assistant principal.
Mrs. Wright is married to Lane Wright who also teaches and coaches at South Lamar School. They have two sons, Brooks (12) and Max (10). They reside in Millport.
Mrs. Wright has enjoyed each and every aspect of her educational endeavors and looks foward to continuing to work coopertively with students, parents, and staff to help South Lamar School reach its highest potential.
