Meet the Librarian!

I am a 1993 graduate of Lamar County High School. I attended the University of Alabama and received a B.S. in Elementary Education. I have a Master’s Degree in Library Media from the University of West Alabama. I have been in education for 15 years. I am married to Heath Pennington, and we have 2 children, Brooklyn and Kye. I am an active member of Sulligent First Assembly of God church where I teach children ages 6-12.
I am also the owner/operator of Showstoppers Dance Studio where I enjoy teaching ballet, tap, jazz, and Zumba. I also enjoy reading and spending time with family and friends.

Our library has:
- Over 5,000 books
- Current Magazines
- Local and Regional newspapers
- Library card catalog access on all computers
- Computer and printer services
- Internet access
Check-Outs:
Books are checked out on a 2 week period. Students may check out as many as needed. Overdue fines are 5 cents per day.
Computers Usage:
- No food or drink in library
- No altering settings on library computers
- Work on computers must be school related
- Printing is 5 cents per page
